2.0 What Coaching is…

Coaching is partnership (defined as an alliance, not a legal business partnership) between the Coach and the Coachee in a thought provoking and creative process that supports, challenges and inspires the client to maximise their personal and professional potential. It is designed to facilitate the creation/development of personal, professional or business goals and to develop and carry out a strategy for achieving those goals. You will be supported and challenged by to move out of your comfort zone, but will never be asked to do anything you do not want to do.

3.0 What Coaching is not…

Coaching is not therapy and does not substitute for therapy if needed. It does not diagnose, or treat any mental or medical illness. Coaching is not to be used as a substitute for counselling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care, substance abuse treatment, or other professional advice by legal, medical or other qualified professionals. If you are currently under the care of a mental health professional, it is recommended that you inform your mental health care provider of the nature and extent of the coaching relationship.

4.0 Confidentiality

This coaching relationship, as well as all information (documented or verbal) that The Coachee shares with The Coach as part of this relationship, is bound by the principles of confidentiality as set in the ICF (International Coach Federation) Code of Ethics. The Coach agrees not to disclose any information pertaining to the Coachee without the Coachee’s written consent. The Coach will not disclose the Coachee’s name as a reference without the Coachee’s consent. The only exceptions to this confidentiality statement are if The Coach is required by law to disclose information or reasonably believes there is an imminent/likely risk of danger or harm to the Coachee or others, and where anonymous information is used within The Coach’s supervision

5.0 Payments

Coaching Plans are payable in full via a Stripe secure payment, prior to session 1.

6.0 Refunds

All purchases are non-transferable and final at the point of purchase, and no refunds will be given. Before you purchase a coaching plan, all potential Coachees are offered a free, 30min Discovery Call to assess fit, and ask questions. When you purchase, please do it with the intention of fully committing to yourself and the coaching process

7.0 Cancellations and Lateness

It is your responsibility to notify The Coach, by phone or email, 24hours in advance of the scheduled coaching sessions, about any cancellation. Cancellations or “no shows” after 24hrs will be void and no refund or alternative appointment given. If you are late by 15minutes or more, the session will be void and no refund will be given. This is because it compromises the quality of the session.

11.0 Coaching Results

The results of any coaching depends upon your ability to take action, and to follow the coaching plan. It is the coachee who chooses to take action and maintains ownership of the results of that action.

The Coach makes no guarantees, representations or warranties of any kind or nature, express or implied with respect to the coaching services negotiated, agreed upon and rendered. Notwithstanding any damages that the Coachee may incur, the Coach’s entire liability under this Agreement, and the Coachee’s exclusive remedy, shall be limited to the amount actually paid by the Coachee to the Coach under this Agreement for all coaching services rendered through and including the termination date.
